Proposal- Areas Of Photographic Practice B
Outline:
For my website I want to create a website that will self-promote my work and will be easy for people to use. Personally I usually like simpler, plain websites so I wanted to show this through my own but also am able to show a bit of my own personality through it. I want to create a website that people will remember and will want to come back to again and again.
The aim for my website is for it to attract people/clients to keep coming back to the website. These clients could be anyone from fashion/design magazines, advertising, fine art or branding companies.
The final online website will help promote myself as an up and coming designer and help show people the work that I do.
Aims and Objectives:
- To create an online portfolio that can be easily expanded and updated.
- To design and create a memorable site/ online presence.
- To make people want to come back to visit the site again and again.
- To let people see my own personality within the site.
- To attract the right people to my website.
- To have a website people enjoy to use but isn’t too complicated.
- To promote myself and my work in the right way.

This is a website that I really like, I like that when you go onto the website you’re not straight onto it and you have to click to enter into it first. I also like how the mouse button turns into the icon of the ‘next’ button to look through the image. The one thing on this website I don’t like is the headings at the top I felt the colour of the words blended in too much and could stand out more. Overall I like the site and find it easy to navigate around.

With this website I like the simple colours and layout I think they work really well with the images so the main focus is on the images. The thing I don’t like about this website is how you have to scroll at the bottom of the page to navigate through the images because it took me a while to work out where I went to look through the images.

With this website I like the simplicity of it and the plain colour scheme. I also like how you can have the option of turning thumbnails of the images on and off so you can find one quickly or click through all the images separately. Again I also like how the mouse button turns into a ‘previous’ or ‘next’ over on the images. I like as well how you can have the website in full screen mode so it fills your whole computer screen so there is no distractions.
Bibliography Here are a list of websites that have things I like and don’t like and I think works and doesn’t work.
